Unwind with a touch of floral serenity! This DIY lavender soda using our lavender spice is the perfect way to beat the heat and soothe your soul. Made with homemade lavender simple syrup, a squeeze of fresh lemon, and sparkling water, it’s a delightful and calming drink.

The recipe makes one serving, but it’s easily multiplied for a crowd! For larger batches, simply adjust the ingredients proportionally and store in an airtight container for 1-2 days before the fizz loses its magic.

Ready to whip up some tranquility? Here’s what you’ll need:

Ingredients:

  • For the Lavender Simple Syrup:
    • ½ cup organic evaporated cane juice (or sugar)
    • ½ cup water
    • 2 teaspoons culinary-grade, dried lavender
  • For the Soda:
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoons lavender simple syrup (from above)
    • 1-2 cups chilled sparkling water
    • Ice cubes
    • (Optional) Fresh lavender sprig for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Make the Lavender Simple Syrup:

    • Combine the cane juice (or sugar) and water in a saucepan.
    • Bring to a boil over medium heat.
    • Remove from heat and add the dried lavender.
    • Let steep for 30-60 minutes, or longer for a stronger lavender flavor.
    • Strain the syrup into a clean jar and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  2. Assemble your lavender oasis:

    • Fill a glass with ice cubes.
    • Add the lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of lavender simple syrup.
    • Top it all off with your favorite sparkling water, adjusting the amount to your desired level of sweetness and fizz.
    • Give it a gentle stir and enjoy!
